Order Thanksgiving Dinner From These Boulder Restaurants

from Travel Boulder

Local food and dining is a major part of the Boulder community, and this year, more than ever, it’s important that we support our culinary neighbors! An opportunity to do just that is on the horizon this week as we approach the Thanksgiving holiday.

With 2020 having caused many of us to become reacquainted with our kitchens on a daily basis, cooking up a full Thanksgiving splendor can seem like a looming task. As COVID-19 cases rise, county and state officials are begging Coloradans to avoid private gatherings among two or more households. It is advised that traditional Turkey Day feasts with multiple generations and larger groups hold off until next year, and that gatherings be hosted virtually, meaning many at-home cooks will bear the full responsibility of creating a usually collaborative meal, or perhaps not attempt this massive undertaking at all.

Fear not: You can still get your Thanksgiving flavor fix in Boulder, support local restaurants, and stay COVID-safe by ordering a professionally prepared, cook-at-home feast. Check out a great list of local restaurants offering Thanksgiving takeout here! All that will be left for you do do will be to power up the Zoom to talk to Grandma (there are no time limits on Zoom calls this year for the holiday!), set the table, and wear your mask to pick up your Thanksgiving dinner (and likely lunch the next day, and the next, and the next).

Stay safe & healthy!

Whether you’re located in a cold climate or not, these Scandinavian design ideals are particularly reassuring in current times as home has become more central to our lives than ever before. norlii.com

Since 2014, Ujamaa Box, sent on a quarterly basis, has featured 300+ international, exclusively Black-owned brands from varying industries that include fashion, art, health, food and beauty. The name “Ujamaa” is a Kwanzaa principle that translates to “cooperative economics,” which is the belief that for all to prosper, we must build and maintain our businesses together.
This idea is clearly mirrored in the service, as a single purchase results in the support of multiple cooperating businesses at one time, all while exposing subscribers to various favorites that may have been otherwise difficult to find. ujamaabox.com

Every kit includes full-sized, award-winning spirits, allowing subscribers to really hone their bartending skills, master the recipes, share with friends and stock up their home bars. Along with the alcohol, the kits include hard-to-find and premium ingredients, syrups and bitters, plus a printed card with instructions and additional cocktail ideas. They even offer a premium version of their full kit, which includes a monthly upgrade or additional hand-selected spirit, as well as a mixers-only version.
